Ellen Kensington

We booked two adjoining rooms for our adult children and ourselves in December 2025. The rooms were beautifully decorated, with luxurious bathrooms and bedding, and we slept really well. They were too compact for four adults and all our belongings, though. Our first floor rooms looked out over a lovely gated garden, and the whole hotel is decorated to a high standard. We arrived early after an overnight flight, and our rooms were ready ahead of schedule, which we really appreciated. Ramiz and Sheikh at the front office were friendly, helpful, and professional. The breakfast room was clean, bright, and well equipped, with a huge choice of food for different tastes. The staff there were very attentive. Ellen Kensington is in a pretty, quiet area, good for exploring on foot. It's an easy walk to the tube, buses, restaurants, and shops.

The rooms were spotless and well maintained, and everything was handled efficiently and in a friendly way. Sheikh and Sitarah made check-in smooth and welcoming, and the staff made me feel at home throughout my stay. I had a wonderful time at Ellen Kensington and would definitely stay again.

Ellen feels like a home away from home, and it's the only hotel we use when we visit London. We stay regularly, and the whole team is fantastic every time. Vinci, the hotel manager, and Sheikh always make us feel welcome and looked after, and that same care came through from reception, housekeeping, maintenance, and the breakfast team. We were there for Valentine's Day and had a beautiful setup in our room, which made the weekend special. The hotel is immaculate, the décor feels classic and luxurious, and breakfast is always excellent. Thanks for another wonderful stay. We can't wait to come back!

The underground is at most a two minute walk away, and the location was even better than described. I enjoyed every minute of my stay. The staff were so kind and always smiling at customers. When I asked for a room with a garden view, the receptionist let me look at two rooms before deciding, since the garden view room was smaller. My room was lovely and cosy, with beautiful design. Both it and the bathroom were very clean, and there were lots of nice extras. Thank you.
