Forest House Hotel

My son and I stayed there for seven months, and I felt comfortable with the staff and managers the whole time. They were kind, pleasant and easy to approach. Thank you guys 💯💯👍👍👍👍👍👍

We stayed here with our colleagues and really enjoyed it. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and we were happy with the service.

The young man at reception was lovely and helpful. The older man, who I think was the owner, was rude, arrogant and nasty. My daughter and I found him scary when he barged into our room after I opened the door, impatiently knocking while I was just asking reception for an extra toilet roll. Parking was ridiculous for a gated area, with high, overgrown weeds, and we had to drive over the pavement to reach the awful parking spot. The bathroom was dirty, with pee on the seat and a used towel on the floor outside the shower. The bed sheets were dirty too. Not worth £112, if you ask me. Don’t stay here.

Terrie, the head receptionist, was the highlight of my stay at Forest House Hotel. She greeted me warmly as soon as I arrived and went out of her way to make sure everything was right. She answered my questions, gave me detailed information about local attractions and even helped with reservations. Her care for guests came through in every interaction. The hotel is charming and beautifully maintained, with comfortable rooms, excellent amenities and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The staff genuinely care, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. I’ll definitely return and highly recommend it for a memorable stay. Five stars all the way. Thank you, Terrie!
