Goodenough Guesthouse

The room was lovely and clean, and being close to Wimbledon station was really convenient. Andy was a superstar, he clearly cared that we enjoyed ourselves and served an amazing breakfast. Great stay!

We stayed in the adorable, comfortable loft, and the whole house was lovely. The room and Andy were lovely too, and so was their cat. Andy gave us directions and local transport tips, and couldn’t have been more helpful. When we lost our bag and got locked out late at night, he was incredibly accommodating. We’re so grateful. We were visiting for a music festival and stayed two nights. On our second day we enjoyed the beautiful English breakfast he cooked, along with the other breakfast options. Thank you!! x

The loft room was just right for my son and me while we visited family down the road, where the house was full. We loved the comfortable beds, the sofa for tea, cards, and relaxing, and the large soaking tub, which I especially appreciated at 6’4” (193 cm). There’s a shower as well. Andy was a kind host and made hearty English breakfasts both mornings. The place was totally clean, and the train is a short walk away. There’s no lift or air conditioning, but neither bothered us. We were lucky with cool air at the end of July and a quiet neighborhood, so we could leave the windows open. We spent two nights at the “more than” Goodenough Guest House. We loved it and will return!

Breakfast was freshly made, delicious, and typically British. After a long night out, we could have it whenever we wanted. We had a very pleasant welcome at Goodenough Guesthouse and enjoyed two nights in the clean „loft room“. It had a double bed, a single bed, a minifridge, and more. The bathroom was spacious and clean too. The shower was a bit worn, but goodenough. If you want a cheaper alternative to hotels, Goodenough Guesthouse Hotel by Kate and Andy is a good choice.
