The shared shower was the one part I found awkward, though it was manageable for a short visit. The toilet was shared too, but stayed clean while I was there. I spent two nights and was pleasantly surprised after reading the reviews: my room was warm, cosy, and clean, with a TV, a sink and mirror, and a kettle with tea and coffee. The staff were lovely and helpful. For one or two nights it’s good value by London standards, and I’d consider returning, though for a longer stay I’d choose a room with its own bathroom.

After a long international journey, this was deeply disappointing. I arrived in London at about 6:00am on 30 December and went to the property around 7:00am to ask if I could leave my luggage before check-in. The “owner” raised his voice and rudely told me to leave because it wasn’t check-in time. He offered no explanation or courtesy, so I left. When I returned around 2:00pm for check-in, nobody was at the registration counter. We stepped inside briefly to ask how check-in worked, and the “owner” appeared and screamed at us, chasing us from the counter and repeating that it was “his property, not ours”. He hadn’t been there to help with check-in. He’d also said that morning that luggage storage was never allowed, yet later we saw another family being allowed to leave their bags there. Both times, he was confrontational, rude, and unwilling to help. We felt unwelcome, uncomfortable, and distressed, so we decided not to stay because we didn’t feel safe or comfortable at the property. I’m making this formal complaint about the owner’s conduct and asking Agoda to help address it. This was far below reasonable hospitality standards.

I was kinda nervous about staying here after reading the reviews, but the room was clean, secure, and just as advertised. It’s in a good spot in euston. I left my bags at left luggage inside euston station instead of asking the property, and that worked well. There are lots of other luggage storage options nearby too :)

We only needed one night, and the room and facilities had everything we needed for the price. The receptionist at the front was friendly and easy to chat with. It’s also handy for transport and things to do, with some lovely local shops and cafes close by.
