We stayed in the other house across from this "Annexe". It's a nice community, with an industrial feel and family houses, and the room was great. The area is charming and more affordable than staying in the centre, though it is a bit far out. Once you get used to the trains, it's easy to reach the city centre in under an hour. We found the Southeastern service to Woolwich Dockyard worked well. Watch out, several lines run over the same tracks. It's about 30 minutes by train to London Bridge or Cannon Street; going further may take another 10-20 minutes on the underground. The last train runs around 23pm. There are hardly any restaurants or large supermarkets nearby, but a small supermarket seven minutes away on foot worked well. We were very happy staying here during our London visit :)

The host was exceptional and even checked in with me before my arrival. Check-in went smoothly. I'd read lots of good reviews before booking, and the stay lived up to them completely. I'd come back whenever I'm in the London area.

We stayed for three a couple of weekends ago, and for the price it was absolutely great. I sent the Lodge a few minor tweaks directly. Nothing major, though, and I'd stay again.

The house was beautiful and the room spotless. Gamal was incredibly friendly and made it clear he'd be happy to help if we needed anything. I can't fault the place, and we'll 100% be back.

I was here Monday to Friday for work for eight weeks, and it was such a lovely place to stay. The hosts couldn't do enough for me. I loved it and would highly recommend it.
