Hilton London Paddington

Gulcin was fantastic throughout, from check-in to check-out. She greeted me with a smile each time I saw her and dealt with any issues very professionally. She really represents the hotel and its hospitality. I was staying at this lovely hotel on a business trip. Everything else was great, though I did miss having a mini fridge, which I think is an essential amenity. Great job, Gulcin.

The staff were great, and the rooms were spacious and nice. But the temperature was a problem for our whole party: none of us could get a room to cool down. We could change the thermostat setting, but it had no effect across our six people and four rooms. Also, after flushing, the toilets took 5-10 minutes to recharge. It's a good hotel otherwise.

An old-school hotel with plenty of London charm, though it is a little dated. It's right beside Paddington Train Station, with an easy walk to Hyde Park and the shops. There's lots to see and do nearby. I'd stay again.

The service was great, and I enjoyed the casino-themed activities. The dessert was nice too, though the rest of the food was just okay: it looked good but needed seasoning, the vegetables were nearly raw, and the meat was dry. Most of my vegan colleagues didn't like or eat the vegan main. We were there for our work Christmas party, but there was hardly any festive decoration beyond the trees in the lobby and ballroom. With such lovely stairs leading to the event spaces, they could have added something more seasonal. It didn't really feel like Christmas, though the evening was decent overall. The rooms are clean and the location is good, but they're rather dated and need refurbishment. It was also very expensive for what it is. Why was there only decaf coffee in the room? I did love the tea.
