That huge bed in the bigger Double Room was really comfortable, and the room itself was clean and spacious. The staff were super friendly, breakfast was good, and the central location worked well. Having free coffee, hot chocolate and tea available day and night was especially handy. A couple of things need attention. The bathroom could use wall hooks, and there was no toilet brush. We asked reception, but they didn’t have any, so we had to call room service to get the toilet cleaned, which felt a little uncomfortable. AirPlay streaming on the TV wasn’t working, apparently across the whole building. They should fix it or, like YouTube, install other apps in advance so guests can sign in to their own accounts.

The room was nicely renovated and the king bed was very comfortable. We felt safe there too, since you need a key card to access each floor. You can help yourself to complimentary tea and coffee in the dining area, and the coffee was good. Check-out is at noon, and they’ll keep your bags for free so you can pick them up later. The location by Kings Cross is hard to beat, with St Pancras International and King's Cross Stations just a stone's throw away. Pancras Square and Coal Drops Yard have plenty of restaurants. The rooms are small, even the largest, so choose the “larger” option if you want more room. We also liked the friendly, helpful service at hub.

Bella welcomed us with a big smile and a warm, funny manner when we arrived before check-in, and she let us into our room earlier than expected. I really appreciated that. The hotel is small but convenient, with modern, well-equipped rooms that are comfortable and relatively clean. It works for a short visit or a few nights, and I’m planning to book it again for my next 4-day stay. The train station is very close, which makes departures easy, and central London is nearby too. For a short city break, it does what I need: I’m out exploring most of the day and the room is more than adequate for sleeping. You can hear people talking as they pass in the hallway, though I personally didn’t find it unbearable.

It’s in a great spot, about a 5-minute walk from St Pancras International, and I’d definitely come back. The rooms are small but thoughtfully laid out, with excellent storage that keeps them feeling comfortable instead of cramped. Staff were warm and helpful, and both the breakfast and bar were good and reasonably priced.
