Hyatt Place London City East

The room was spotless, which really impressed me. I usually worry about dust, so I checked it before settling in and was very pleased with how clean and ready it was. I met the housekeeper who had prepared it, Ramona, and want management to know she did a great job. All my praise goes to her. Well done 👍 It was my first stay with Hyatt, for a business trip last weekend, and I was impressed from check-in through the service and the room. The staff were professional and knew the hotel and local area well.

The 270 degree views of London from our room were wonderful, and the bed was super comfortable. My boyfriend and I were there for our anniversary on February 17, and had a really yummy meal at the onsite restaurant. Thanks to Nayva and the team, who even brought us a complimentary dessert for the occasion. Justine gave us standout service at check-in. She was friendly, welcoming, and went out of her way to make us feel welcome as HYATT Guests of Honour. We also went to the rooftop bar, where the bartender and manager were enthusiastic and kind. She took time to explain each drink and make sure we were looked after. Thank you so much, Team!

The location made getting around really easy, with the tube close by, but the hotel still felt tucked away from the chaos. There’s also a Tesco almost next door for snacks and drinks. I had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Place London City East, and the service was fantastic from the moment I arrived. Miz at reception was especially kind and welcoming, and went out of their way to look after me. The room upgrade was a lovely surprise. The room was spacious, especially for London, spotless, beautifully presented, and comfortable. Everything felt fresh, modern, and thoughtfully done. There’s a small gym that worked for a workout, and a lovely rooftop bar too. It was a brilliant stay, with great service, a fabulous room, and a perfect location. I’d happily stay again and highly recommend it. Thanks for the hospitality.

I’d accidentally made another reservation for a different time period, and it was supposedly non-refundable and couldn’t be cancelled. She took time to look into it properly and handled it calmly and professionally. The issue was resolved, and I was more than satisfied with the outcome.
