Ibis London Canning Town

We came to London for Abba Voyage and had an amazing stay. The DLR station is across the road from the hotel, or it's only a 10-minute taxi ride. There are supermarkets, a coffee shop, and places to eat right nearby. The hotel is spotless and has a relaxed, chilled vibe. Reception staff were excellent and very accommodating, especially Curtis, who was so warm, welcoming, and helpful. The only small downside was poor phone reception inside. It's great value, and I'd highly recommend it.

For my first stay at an Ibis, this was a pleasant surprise. It's a new hotel right opposite Canning Town tube station, and the room was clean and spacious. I was there for one night, next to the lift, but thankfully couldn't hear it. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure and a decent size. Check-in was with a real person, who was friendly and helpful. Getting into central London was simple and took about 36 minutes. It also seems well placed for the O2 or London City Airport.

A wonderful hotel in a perfect spot for getting around by transport. The staff and service were excellent, and the rooms are incredibly comfortable. The bathroom has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Breakfast offers a wide choice for every palate, and the coffee is exceptional. Will I book again? Most definitely 😁

The area was quiet when I walked around in the evening, with restaurants, coffee shops and two big supermarkets close by. There isn’t much to do beyond eating, but for a work trip it was enough. I was there for an event at ExCel arena, and getting the DLR was easy, with the station right across the road. Inside, the room was roomy, comfortable and quiet. I liked the Nespresso machine, big TV and nice Thames view. The staff I dealt with were professional and engaged, and Thibault at checkout was especially alert and kindly offered to store my suitcase before I headed home. Breakfast was hot and fresh, with plenty of choice. The bar had a relaxed, friendly feel in the evening, and there were board games to play. Checkout at 12pm was a welcome surprise and gave me time for a quick nap before the trip home.
