The staff were lovely and helpful, and the location was handy, with the Tube close by, lots of food places and a pub nearby. The car park was free. But I’m glad we only stayed one night. The room looked nothing like the pictures, the beds were old, and the tiny en-suite needed a complete revamp. There was mould, a very small shower, and a big crack in the sink, which had no plug. The bedding was clean, at least. The hotel sits beside a busy roundabout and around 400 yards from an ambulance depot, so we heard ambulances going out at night. We could also hear people coming and going. I felt a bit on edge seeing male foreign men walking around staring. I wouldn’t recommend it for a long stay or for families.

The heater was already on when I arrived, so the room felt warm and comfortable right away, which made a real difference after a long day. Everything was spotless, fresh and well looked after, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Much nicer than my previous stays at Travelodge. I’d definitely choose it again.

The room was sticky, the carpets were dirty, and the bathroom looked like it was falling apart. Awful hotel, the worst I’ve ever been to. I don’t recommend it at all.

The location is good and there’s free parking, but it isn’t a great hotel. The beds were okay, though the pillows were bad, and the bathroom was very small. There’s a lift and a fan, but no aircon. The room was hot and noisy, being by the roundabout near an ambulance depot.

We had a pleasant short break, and reception and room service did their jobs very well. Our room had enough space for three of us as a family. It faced the street, so there was traffic noise and smells from the smoking area.
