The staff were wonderful and helpful, and the street itself was quiet and the location was great. Still, we heard a lot of banging and thudding from next door. The room was a nice size with lovely natural light, but could use some sprucing up. The wallpaper was marked and torn in places, and the shower was disappointing, with low pressure and water that never got warmer than tepid. That was a shame in cold February. The included afternoon tea was a lovely touch, but continental breakfast was overpriced. I’d come back, though it’d be nice to see a few improvements.

The room was a comfortable size, with great amenities and a very nice bathroom, though the interior looked a bit run down. Once the shower handle and the bathroom window door handle broke, but staff dealt with both right away. They were extremely friendly, helpful, and pleasant.

I felt misled by this hotel. The room was extremely small and claustrophobic, nothing like the photos or description in the advertising, which gave a false impression of space and comfort. It felt uninhabitable. When I raised a legitimate complaint, staff took no responsibility and kept pointing to the non-refundable policy instead of addressing the issue or offering a reasonable solution. There was no empathy or attempt to help. The experience was deeply disappointing and left me feeling deceived. I’d strongly advise others to avoid it. What you book isn’t what you get.

We’ve just returned from a family holiday and had a wonderful stay here. The hotel was clean and felt safe, and all the staff were nice and helpful. It’s close to Harrods, lots of restaurants, and about a five-minute walk from Hydepark. I’ll definitely visit again.
