Lamington Apartments

The apartment was newly renovated and beautiful, with a large kitchen, clean, good-sized bathrooms, clean linen and lovely views from all the windows. It’s in a good location, with grocery and essentials shops nearby. Check-in was smooth, and the service was prompt. The staff were very good, from the cooperative bellboys to Emma and Nicolletta at reception, who were great. We had a very comfortable stay and highly recommend it, especially for big families or anyone traveling with toddlers and young children.

There’s a lovely garden at the back, and the apartment was warm and in a great location. I was surprised by how much space we had, much more than at a hotel. It also had all the facilities and kitchen appliances, so it works for either short or long stays. We had an issue with the boiler, but it was fixed the next morning. The staff were also nice and helpful. Highly recommend. I’ll definitely choose this place again for my next business trip.

There were serious water leaks in the apartment, and we weren’t told about them when we checked in. My reservation was for three people, but the room wasn’t properly prepared until I pointed that out. The extra bed they brought was broken. I reported it on our first day, but they simply set it up in that condition, so it couldn’t be used. I know how to use it. Whatever the cost, this was deeply disappointing. I’d expected much better and can’t recommend this place to anyone.

We spent two nights in a one-bedroom apartment. The place and location were okay for the rate, and I can’t complain too much about that. I didn’t realize check-in would be at a different address, five to seven minutes’ walk from the apartment. It wasn’t a big deal, but I hadn’t expected it. The TV remote didn’t work, and the apartment was very warm. The main problem was the sound insulation. We were below ground level, and even tiny movements in the apartment above made squeaking noises. It disrupted my sleep, and I couldn’t sleep properly either night.
