I came alone for a birthday weekend, and the hotel is lovely for a spa break. I called ahead and spoke to Delaram, who also checked me in. She was great, showed me where the facilities were, explained the east and West rooms, and how best to get to the spa. Staff were attentive and service was efficient, even though I arrived during an award ceremony and the hotel was busy. I liked the look of the place, the amenities, the Spa, the exec lounge space, the self-service setup, and the location. It’s definitely on my list to visit again. Thank you.

The hotel is on a central but quieter road with less traffic, so it was easy to get a peaceful night’s sleep. My bed was so comfortable that I woke up rested and ready to explore London. The city views from the Leonardo Royal Hotel London Tower Bridge are simply insane. Our room was spotless every day, with the amenities refreshed, and I liked having free water and fruit at reception. The spa and pool are included in the room price, though we didn’t get time to use them because of other commitments. I’d highly recommend staying here and would love to return! :)

The spa was one of the best parts of the hotel, especially the amazing jacuzzi. There’s also a pool, sauna, and steam room, though the steam room needs refurbishment. The location is very good, and I had a great weekend. My superior king-size-bed room had a comfortable bed, couch, armchair, desk, bathrobes, slippers, and a Nespresso machine. Towels are available at the spa too. I slept really well, although there was no view from my room. The hotel was super busy, I think it was hosting an event. Check-in involved long queues even though I’d done it online, but they welcomed me with a glass of prosecco, and there are water refreshments and apples at reception. The elevators were frustrating, with long waits in this huge hotel. The West wing has 14 floors and just two elevators, which stop on the way depending on who got in first. I wasn’t too high up, so I could use the stairs. For the money, it’s a great experience.

Anika made my partner’s first stay here, for her 30th birthday, unforgettable. She upgraded our room, surprised us with wine, and gave us such thoughtful customer service. She really went above and beyond, and my partner had the best birthday ever. We told Anika’s manager the next day because she deserves a raise! All the staff were amazing, and we felt like royalty the whole time. I stayed at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London Tower Bridge a few years ago and loved it, but this visit was even better. We’ll definitely be regulars.

The room and view were excellent, but the service and running of the hotel didn’t justify what we paid (£*** for two nights including Executive access). It was spacious and modern, with a comfortable bed and fantastic views of the Tower of London and The Shard. Two male bartenders on Sunday afternoon were the only staff who genuinely acknowledged us and were friendly. Breakfast was disorganized. We were seated without cutlery or condiments and had to get them ourselves. Food was replenished slowly, and we found hair in the food more than once. The Executive Lounge was regularly short on snacks and drinks and didn’t seem monitored or maintained. At checkout, there was no clear way to make a complaint or escalate our concerns. The spa was good early in the morning, but quickly turned chaotic with no visible supervision. There was visible mould in the steam room. When the steam stopped, we were told to throw water ourselves to restart it, which shouldn’t be up to guests. The lift waits were excessive. We waited around 20 minutes once and often took the stairs up 11 floors because it was faster. At check-in, nobody explained where the lifts or breakfast were, or how the Executive Lounge worked, so we went to the wrong lifts and had to backtrack. Service and management need to improve to justify the Executive label and price.
