Liverpool Street - Your Apartment

We were told this was a serviced apartment, but during our three-night stay it was never serviced. The apartment needs a proper review: the kitchen tap was loose, the shower waste cover was missing, the bedroom TV had been removed and not replaced, and damaged picture frames need replacing. The wardrobe was unusable because you had to be on the bed to open its door. On arrival the TV had no terrestrial channels, but someone fixed it by repairing the RF cable. The shower gel was empty on the first morning; I asked a staff member to refill it during service, but since no service happened, we had to buy our own. The shared door for apartments 8, 9 and 10 has a broken lock jammed in the unlocked position, and its self-closer makes it bang very loudly whenever anyone passes through. That needs fixing immediately. We put our cups and glasses in the filthy dishwasher when checking out, then found it didn’t work either. I’d avoid this place. There are better apartments that are actually serviced.

There’s a hard-to-find sense of class and luxury here. The apartment is thoughtfully laid out, the appliances are great for everyday use and simple to operate, and the staff are super helpful.

The area was a nice surprise, with interesting little sculptures and murals nearby, plus Spitalfield market and the Indian restaurants on Brick lane close by. It’s also convenient for Stansted Airport and under 25 minutes by public transport from Abba voyage stadium. The apartment was modern, clean and pleasant, and the staff were friendly and accommodating over email and WhatsApp.

Check-in at 2am was a mess. I never got a login or PIN, so I couldn’t get in, and there was nobody I could call for help.
