Montcalm Marble Arch Townhouse

Being a short walk from Marble Arch Underground Station made it easy to get around London, and after long days out we were glad to be just a quick tube ride from our room. Supermarkets and plenty of nice places to eat were close by too, handy for grabbing snacks, drinks or an easy dinner when we were tired. The room was clean and comfortable, just what we needed as a cosy place to recharge. It isn’t flashy, and that’s part of its charm. The welcome felt warm and genuine from the start, and check-in was straightforward, so we felt looked after right away. We’d happily come back and recommend it to anyone after a comfortable place in a great London location.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and everything was clean and ready for us. There are staff on site 24 hours, which was good. The location is amazing, close to a couple of stations, shops, services and bars open late. Definitely recommend it, and I’d stay again. The rooms were just okay. The shared toilet was right by my room, which wasn’t the best, and I had to carry my clean and dirty things and towel up and down because the shared shower was upstairs. The shower itself was tiny.

I’d read some mixed reviews before arriving, but the Marble Arch Inn turned out to be clean and really well located. It’s a simple, comfortable place to rest, and I had a very pleasant stay. I’d happily return.

It’s clean, the staff are kind, and the location is excellent. You’re right at the edge of the better and less appealing parts of central London, so it’s convenient but has an interesting feel. The building does feel outdated, though, with no elevator or air conditioning. Still a solid option if location matters more to you than modern comforts.
