Park Avenue J Hotel London

The bed was dirty, which was the worst part. There were so many hairs and bits of dust on the blanket that more kept coming off even after I shook it. There were even dirty nail clippings on it. Maybe the bedding caused it, but once I lay down my whole body felt itchy. The bathroom was dirty too, with lots of stains and grime. There was far too much noise and no sound insulation at all. I couldn't sleep properly, even with noise cancelling AirPods in my ears. I could hear people talking outside and garbage trucks at dawn. The Western lady at reception was unfriendly as well. I was so uncomfortable I just wanted to get out. I stayed outside as long as I could because I didn't want to go back to the room. I had a few more days booked, but couldn't get a refund, so I gave them up and moved somewhere else. For London, it may be cheap, but pay more and go somewhere else. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

Everything was clean, and all the staff were really kind and professional. A really good place, and thanks again for a two day trip. Loïc

The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, and all the main attractions are nearby. A great place to stay for a few days in London. Thanks to everyone for the excellent service. We'll be back!

The rooms are a little small, but that's normal for central areas, even in four star hotels. The location is excellent, and above all, the staff are really friendly and helpful.
