Park Grand Mayfair

January Stevens made my stay special every day. She was professional, kind, and wonderfully attentive, always smiling and offering help before I even had to ask. Her effort and genuine care really mattered to me, and I’m very grateful to her. The whole team made me feel at home from check-in to departure. Everyone was friendly, quick to help, and thoughtful about even small details. The hotel was clean, beautifully maintained, and clearly set up with comfort in mind. I also appreciated the little gestures and how readily the staff helped. It was one of my best hotel experiences, and I’d gladly return. Thank you to January Stevens and the entire team.

The entrance feels a bit like walking into a house, but inside this boutique hotel the welcome was personal and the room was beautiful and well equipped. I was shown around and everything was explained. Compared with big hotel chains these days, it felt like a genuinely high-quality experience. The hotel is a smaller counterpart to The Montcalm. Staff treated me very well throughout, even bringing me complimentary coffee and water while I joined online meetings in the breakfast area. Great location, great stay, and I’d recommend it.

This may have been my worst experience across all my visits to London. The room had a broken window, which made it very cold at night. I asked reception twice to fix the crack. Nobody came after the first request, so it didn’t seem like they took it seriously. After the second, they apologized and said they’d send someone, but then told me it couldn’t be fixed that day. I asked to move rooms. They agreed, but said the alternative would be on the lower ground floor.

I can’t see how this is called a 5-star hotel, though they don’t charge 5-star prices, so I suppose that’s fair. Still, my basement room, 906, was under the breakfast area, and the noise of people walking above started at 6AM. It’s loud. They simply shouldn’t rent that room out.
