The location made it easy to walk to Westminster and the London Eye, and we had an enjoyable weekend. My daughter and I were upgraded to a suite style room on the 12th floor, looking out over the city. The receptionist was welcoming and gave her a little activity bag. Our room was spacious, lovely, and quiet, with complimentary drinks on arrival, floor-to-ceiling windows, good temperature control, and a very comfortable bed. We both slept well. We had dinner at the hotel too. The food was generally good, though a bit overpriced. The restaurant was quiet, while the downstairs bar was busier and the music a little too loud for us. Breakfast was good, and it was great that kids eat free. They cleared our table and gave it to someone else while we went to get another drink, but quickly found us another place to sit, and the host apologized.

The views from our complimentary Penthouse room on the 14th floor were sublime. My wife and boys loved the balcony, especially the night view and morning sunrise. We were in town for a family event at the Savoy, a 20-minute walk away, and had time for a morning stroll to see the attractions. The staff were brilliant and the location fantastic. A special thanks to the nighttime staff member working on the 7th of February, whose name I forgot, for being so accommodating. The buffet breakfast was great, though busy between 8 and 9:30, so I'd suggest going early. We parked at the Britannia car park, a secure and convenient three-minute walk away, for £25 for 24 hours. What an experience. We'd definitely come back.

The staff were super helpful, breakfast was quite good, and the location is within walking distance of attractions. It was very quiet and clean, though a bit worn out. The rooms and equipment are pretty damaged, which keeps it from being excellent. Then again, the price would probably be higher if they were in better shape.

The room was comfortable, very clean, and quiet, and I slept well. We were upgraded to a junior suite for Valentine's weekend, and as a VIP member I also got a lovely bottle of Prosecco, chocolates, strawberries, and a towel sculpture on the bed. Very romantic, and my partner was impressed. Everyone was friendly and we had a warm welcome at check-in. Breakfast was the weak spot. For a hotel charging these rates, it didn't feel worth the price. I went down at 7:40 on Friday: the plates were cold, the food had been sitting out a while, the bacon was overdone, and the sausages were okay. The yoghurt was oddly runny and came from a giant pump, which I wouldn't expect here. Eggs are made to order, which was a bonus, but my omelette fell apart and wasn't presented well. The Valentine touches were lovely, so five stars, though on the hotel and breakfast alone it'd be four.

We didn't eat at the hotel because we already had plans. Breakfast is £20 per person if booked with the hotel the day before, or £25 on the day. Nearby sidings has plenty of places to eat, including Witherspoon's Lion & Unicorn, where service was super fast and food arrived in 6-7 minutes, as well as Brewdog and Nandos. The location was great, and the room was quiet as requested, though quite small for £323 a night. Maybe that's December pricing. The view wasn't nice, and the bath was high to step into, with an old, worn shower system. It was bright outside, and a broken curtain hook left a strip of light coming in. The Aircon worked very well. There was a mini fridge, kettle, tea and coffee, and an ice machine in the hall.
