Parkwood Marble Arch

Whenever I come to London, Parkwood Hotel at the Marble Arch feels like home. I’ve been staying here since 2018 and know the neighborhood well, including where to grab a bite when I get back late and where to shop for things I need. It’s a relaxed, safe place in a marvelous city. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and breakfast is a hot, ready-to-eat full English. The location is perfect, across from Hyde Park, near Kensington Palace and The Royal Albert Hall, and one block from Oxford Street.

The staff were lovely and helpful, especially when they went out of their way to sort out an issue with our booking.com reservation so we could keep our planned stay. We could also leave our bags at reception before check-in. The rooms weren’t perfectly finished, as often happens in older London hotels, but they were clean and had everything we needed. The location worked brilliantly for Winter Wonderland and for walking along Oxford & Bond street. We had a really lovely stay.

The staff were all friendly and helpful, and breakfast was tasty, filling, and had a good choice of foods. Our clean, comfortable room was a good size and had everything we needed. It’s right beside Hyde Park, close to buses and the tube. We had a wonderful stay and will come back. Highly recommend.

The breakfast was a lovely surprise, with a delicious full English to start the day. Parkwood at Marble Arch is a small boutique hotel, but that gives it a cozy, home-like feeling. Guests greeted each other at breakfast and in the corridors or on the stairs, and it soon felt like a little community. It felt safe too, with your own key to come and go as you like. The room was clean and well kept, and having a heater helped on chilly winter nights. There’s free WIFI as well. I felt at home from the moment I arrived, and I’d happily return. If you like cozy places, I recommend it.
