The female staff members were kind and helpful, which I appreciated, though some of the male staff seemed unfriendly and unmotivated. Breakfast was very limited, mostly fruit, with a warm croissant as the one thing I liked. Once breakfast ended, coffee service closed completely, and there were no complimentary extras during the day. The bathroom and bedroom were almost side by side, which felt uncomfortable and could be awkward for couples. We knew the room had no window, so I’m not complaining about that, but I expected proper ventilation. The room was extremely small, and the cleanliness was a serious problem. There were hairs on the bed, giving a bad first impression. Being so close to the train line also meant noise all night, and it was very hard to sleep. I’ve stayed in many London hotels and wouldn’t recommend this one to anyone expecting comfort or good value. The warm croissants were the only thing I could genuinely recommend.
The train line runs right beneath the hotel, and each passing train made the ground shake a little and came through loudly. If noise makes it hard for you to sleep, I wouldn’t suggest staying here, and it may not suit families with children either. Earplugs could help. Still, as a man in my 30s, I thought it was a good choice. It’s central, the next station is very close, and there’s an inexpensive supermarket right outside for drinks and cheap meals. I was allowed to eat what I bought in the lobby, which was handy. It was my first visit to London, so I can’t compare it with other hotels here. I’d still recommend it if you’re weighing price against the level of comfort you need. The staff were excellent: whenever I came in, someone at reception greeted me with a smile. They took time to answer my questions fully and checked whether I needed anything else. My second-floor room was clean and had no bugs. I’d have preferred a window, but the modern air conditioner worked properly.
Breakfast was really good, with everything we needed, and there’s a vending machine for things you might want. You can also buy drinks throughout the day. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and we had a great time. We’ll be back soon. The location worked perfectly for transport, with train, bus, and tube nearby, including Pddington Station, and Tesco right across the street. There are pubs and little restaurants on both sides of the hotel. Thanks 🫶🏻
The staff were the highlight of our three-night visit, always friendly and helpful. When we got back late, we could buy tea and snacks at reception, and they prepared them exactly how we wanted. We’d stay in the area again, though we’d look for a room with tea-making facilities next time. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Paddington station, and the West End is easy to reach by bus or tube. Our room was clean and comfortable, even though it was quite small. Breakfast options were limited, and there was no way to make tea in the room.
Shaimma was especially kind, professional, and helpful, and made my visit even better. The hotel has a modern, welcoming feel, and the clean, comfortable room was in a convenient location. I’d happily recommend it and stay again.
