Premier Inn London Clapham

I’d come back for the peace and quiet, and the friendly staff. It’s the quietest hotel I’ve stayed in for ages, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The food was typical Premier fare, fine but not exciting. The evening meals tasted good, though the portions weren’t generous. I’d like to see oatmeal, gluten-free options and plant milks readily available. Train stations and good shopping are a 10-15 minute walk away, with a few smaller options closer by.

The hot food and continental breakfast had a good range, tasted delicious and was very reasonably priced, with freshly brewed coffee and juice too. The hotel is about a 25-minute walk from Clapham Junction, or six minutes by bus. Thanks to the team for their attentive service. Special praise to the chef for the great food and customer care, and to Zainab, who looked after customers especially well. She was efficient, polite and friendly.

The staff really made our stay special. Everyone was lovely, especially giani/giovanni, if I’ve remembered his name right. He couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome. The food was great too, and the room was clean and comfortable, just as you’d expect from a Premier Inn. We needed somewhere near battersea power station and could walk there from the hotel. We stayed on Thursday and would absolutely book again. Thank you!

We’re fussy about which Premier Inns we’d return to, after staying at more than 250 last year alone. This one made the list. The whole team, from reception through to the chef, were among the most professional and helpful we’ve encountered at a premie inn, and went out of their way to make sure my team had what we needed. The hotel is well placed for us, about a 20-minute walk to battersea power station. We drove, and although there’s no carpark, we booked spaces through just park about a 10-minute walk away. Parking is free on the neighbouring residential streets on saturday and sunday. Our rooms were very quiet, and everyone agreed there was no noise from above on the lower floors. There’s a lift too, which is always a bonus.
