Signature Hotel

We raised problems several times, but they were never properly sorted out. Despite this, a staff member, FAHIM, asked us to leave a very good review, which felt surprising and inappropriate. Even basic supplies were a problem. There were only a few teabags, and they looked expired and as if they’d been soaked in water. We weren’t given enough milk; after a delay when we asked for more, we were told there was none at all. It’s the first hotel I’ve stayed in without milk. There was no drinking water either. Room cleaning was scheduled only once every three days, so a two-night guest wouldn’t get any cleaning, and there was no one available to clean if an issue came up between visits. The lack of essentials, poor housekeeping schedule, mishandled complaints and request for a positive review made the stay uncomfortable and frustrating. These are basic hospitality standards, not luxury demands. It was a very poor experience, and I wouldn’t recommend the hotel. Both the basic amenities and customer service need significant improvement.

You can get around easily from here, with the train station close by. The hotel is right in the city centre, with a supermarket across the street and several places to eat next door, including lots of halal options. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished, and it was affordable compared with other London hotels. Fahim was extremely kind, helped us a lot and spoke very respectfully. Definitely recommended! 💯✌🏼

I’ve been a regular customer, but I won’t book here again. The bedsheets were dirty and the staff were rude, which was really disappointing. The room and bathroom were both tiny and cramped, making the room feel claustrophobic and poor value for money. We got only one towel for the whole stay and no napkins. The toiletries were such poor quality that they irritated my skin. The experience was well below an acceptable standard.

The room was quite spacious, with plenty of room for our things. The bed was soft and big enough for two, although the bedding didn’t feel very soft or good quality. The bathroom looked a bit old but seemed okay to me, and it had a bathtub even though that wasn’t mentioned in the booking. The hotel has a lift, so there’s no need to take the stairs. The station is only a three-minute walk away, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, though there’s no parking. There were two of us but only one set of towels. The room also took a long time to warm up and felt quite cold when I arrived. Overall, I’d say the room was about a 3/5.
