Southgate Hotel London

The staff were lovely, and the lobby is spacious. The rooms are nice and roomy too. Breakfast was fine, nothing special, so I'd suggest trying one of the amazing nearby cafes instead. There's no fan in the bathroom, but it wasn't a big problem since the room's system worked well and you could use it to dry things after a shower.

The room had comfy beds and a big, wide TV that we really enjoyed. The reception area was lovely, with non-alcoholic drinks and pizza, and the hotel itself is modern and clean. One staff member was especially warm and professional. When we asked for a duvet cover to be replaced because of a persistent stain, she dealt with it straight away. We booked an accessible room, and that's where the main problems were. The walk-in shower had no folding seat, so my wife had to stand and put unwanted pressure on her hips and legs. The bathroom floor was uneven with imperfections. It may have been minor, but it shouldn't have been like that, and it seemed the vinyl had been fitted in a rush without underlay. At checkout, I mentioned the uneven floor to another receptionist, who seemed indifferent. The location is worth checking before you book, though there is a tablet by the entrance for calling an Uber. This could be a brilliant hotel, and I'm sure other rooms won't have the same issues, so I do recommend it.

The staff were all very helpful and polite, especially general manager, Anna Tee laura and lucy. The hotel was excellent, clean and new, with a great location near southgate tube station. Breakfast was very nice, the heating and air conditioning worked well, and the pizza was really good too. It would be nice if Turkish coffee were available. Thank you, highly recommended.

Being right by the station made it so easy to get around London, and parking was a breeze too. The rooms were clean, spacious, and super comfortable, and I thought the food was really good. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality at South Gate Hotel London was amazing. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. I've stayed in a lot of hotels over the years, and this was genuinely one of my best experiences. Everything felt smooth and stress-free. I'll definitely come back and recommend it to everyone.
