I booked through Booking.com, but on arrival the room I was given wasn't suitable for my respiratory condition. I asked straight away to move to a lower-level room with a double bed, twin setup or two single beds that I could access safely. The staff member I spoke to laughed dismissively and walked away instead of offering another room. Booking.com later told me the property had refused a refund, and I still haven't received a substantive reply to my email from nearly two weeks ago, despite being invited to correspond by email. The response I eventually got from the property said, “we always help folk that are nice to us,” with a smile emoji. That felt deeply hurtful and unprofessional when I was asking for reasonable accommodation under the Equality Act or applicable disability-rights legislation. I've had to tell several disability advocacy organizations, local media outlets and travel-industry press about what happened. I don't want to tarnish the property's reputation unduly, but I do want to highlight the need for proper training and sensitivity when serving guests with disabilities. To resolve this amicably, I request a full refund of the room charge for the affected nights, a written apology acknowledging the inadequate service and staff conduct, and confirmation of any policy changes or staff training initiatives to prevent similar incidents, all within the next seven (7) days. If I don't receive a constructive reply within that time, I'll have no choice but to take further action through consumer-protection agencies and advise future travellers about my experience. I hope we can find a fair solution, and I'm available to discuss this at your earliest convenience. Thank you for your prompt attention to this serious issue.

We came to London for a short trip and wanted basic comfort at a reasonable price. We didn't check the usual sites like Tripadvisor or Google first, unfortunately. The photos speak for themselves and back up the bad reviews I've found. The place was dirty all over, with nasty ceiling stains, a grimy curtain, a bathroom covered in mould and a broken lamp. One wall had been painted, but tape from pictures and mirrors had been left behind. The whole hotel smelled musty, especially on our top floor. On Saturday night, a technician started repairs right next to our room and carried on until 11 p.m. I had to go in and make him stop. We didn't complain until we left because the only girl there in the evenings all weekend was looking after a small child and obviously wasn't management. The state of the place felt like a joke and showed the attitude of the responsible employees and management. Decide for yourself whether the fairly good London price for this area is worth staying somewhere so disgusting.

Our room in the 107 building was very quiet, and the toilet was cleaned every day. The towels and bed linen were clean too. I'd been worried after reading the comments, but for the price and location it was actually pretty good. There were some annoyances: the bathroom fan was very loud and came on with the light, which was bothersome at night, and the kettle wasn't clean so we couldn't use it. Depending on your floor, there may be a lot of stairs. Still, nothing was terrible, and if you're not too demanding about hotels, you'll be fine.

We stayed one night, two adults in a standard twin room, and paid £160. It's a handy spot for a quick visit, within walking distance of Apollo Victoria theatre and Pimlico underground station. The staff were nice and check-in was easy, though the rooms are dated. Ours had carpet, a TV, kettle and shower, but no fridge, bathtub or working room service. Not all the lights worked, and there wasn't a restaurant, though breakfast was available. Accessibility wasn't available, and the room wifi measured 8/5 Mbit/s. The towels were small, the mattress wasn't high quality, and the room didn't have electronic locking. The courtyard-facing room was quiet, rated 2 out of 10 for noise. Value for money was OK.

We stayed in late April 2025 and had to leave because of health concerns related to asthma, then pay for another hotel ourselves. The room was dirty and mouldy, with a stained carpet, a broken window and dead moths on the floor and in the corners. The musty smell filled the building, and there were moths in the hallways too. After we complained several times, the only response was to show us another room in just as poor condition. Guests with heavy bags also have to manage a long, narrow staircase without help. Offering a room in such neglected, unhygienic condition is disrespectful. Avoid this place if cleanliness, hygiene and basic comfort matter to you.
