The room and bathroom were both really small, but they were enough for us since we only needed somewhere to sleep. We had a nice view, and the staff were friendly and happy to help with anything. The location was perfect, about a 10-minute walk from victoria station. It was great to leave our luggage there before check-in and after checkout. We were there for two nights and enjoyed our stay.

That bed was unbelievably comfortable, honestly the best I can remember sleeping in. We stayed four nights, and the room was clean, cosy and had what we needed. There were no teaspoons at first, but reception gave us some. Staff were friendly, and getting around was easy: Victoria Coach Station was five minutes away and Westminster Abbey and Big Ben were under a half-hour walk. A comfortable stay at a reasonable price, I’d definitely recommend it.

The location is good, and the staff eventually handled the bedbug problem very well. I got bitten on the first night, but the workers gave me a full refund, so I’m happy with how they resolved that. The rest of the stay was frustrating. The room wasn’t very clean, and we were told to let reception know when we wanted fresh towels or cleaning. We did, but neither happened. You can also hear every step from the floor above, which is annoying if you’re sensitive to noise.

The location near Victoria and Pimlico works well if you’re after a budget hotel. That’s about all it has going for it, though. The phone didn’t work, sockets were damaged, light fittings were coming away from the wall, and the curtains wouldn’t close, so a roadside room has no privacy. It feels like the place hasn’t had investment in years, and probably won’t, since people keep booking for the location.
