Reeta, Myriam, and Aine deserve special thanks for all their help organizing the birthday party. The BoTree team made the preparation and event run smoothly with their professional support. We had a fantastic stay, with comfortable, beautiful accommodation and impressive food. The personalized cake was superbly presented, and the ice-cutting sculpture from the pastry chef was a highlight. Having a spacious cinema hall available for private events is a unique amenity we really valued. Thank you for the outstanding experience at my principal husband’s recent birthday party. We highly recommend the property.

For my 40th birthday, the surprise cheesecake brought to the room made the celebration feel especially memorable. The room had so many thoughtful details, from underfloor heating and generous toiletries to lovely lighting, a robe, and slippers. We had a wonderful stay, and the rooms felt luxurious and extremely comfortable. You can really feel the five-star quality throughout. Thank you for such a lovely experience.

The room was bright, stylish, and clean, and the price was a pleasant surprise. It's in a very convenient location, and the concierge was helpful. Really outstanding value for money.

I came to The BoTree London expecting the quiet, sophisticated escape I'd seen praised by influencers. They hadn't mentioned the basement nightclub, which opened around 9/25/25 and has changed what a stay here is like. At £750 ($900) a night, being unable to sleep is unacceptable. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the service staff exceptional, but those things don't help if you can't rest. On Friday and Saturday, the bass goes through the elevator shafts and into rooms on every floor. The accessible elevator announcements, “going up, going down, going up!”, echo through the building as club guests come and go. If you're near the elevator bays, sleep seems impossible. Music carries on until 2:30-3:00 AM. After that, there are intoxicated people shouting outside, revving engines, and cars playing loud music as they collect clubgoers. It wasn't quiet until after 4:00 AM. Our final night, the fire alarms sounded and the emergency doors shut. Some locked, including the stairwell door. I called from the room, but nobody on staff was answering calls. The gym was another disappointment: it only opens on weekdays, and it's a dimly lit dungeon that forms part of the nightclub. The hotel gives passes to a gym three blocks away, but that limitation isn't clearly disclosed on the website, which prominently shows the on-site gym. The hotel used to get great reviews for being quiet, but those were written before the club opened. I relied on those recommendations and wound up exhausted and frustrated. This place seems suited to wealthy partygoers who sleep during the day and go clubbing at night. It's a poor fit for business travelers or tourists who need proper rest while exploring London. I really wanted to love it, but the peaceful stay those early guests described no longer seems to exist.
