The Moorgate by Cove

It was surprisingly quiet despite being on a busy corner, and there were two coffee shops on the first floor, which was a nice bonus. Several grocery stores, pubs and fast casual places are within two blocks. The Elizabeth line is just steps away, so getting door to door from Heathrow took no time at all. The air conditioner worked almost too well. Even in 30+ degree weather, I kept turning it up to a higher temperature. GREAT location.

The location is great and the rooms are clean, but I was disappointed on my second visit. I booked the large studio again, for June 19-22, but got a much smaller studio. When I raised it, staff said the layouts vary. I was asking about the size, not the layout, and the answer felt misleading. If the booked and paid for room isn’t available, be upfront about it. At least refund the difference for a smaller room. Guests deserve what they paid for and an honest explanation. I’d been ready to give the place five stars after my first stay, which I booked for June 15. I got the large studio I’d reserved, and though the AC wasn’t very strong, staff brought me a fan, so it was fine for one night. The room was clean and comfortable. The AC barely cools. It took almost two days for the second room to feel somewhat comfortable, so in summer, expect to ask for extra fans.

The apartment was beautifully cleaned, and the location was fantastic. Highly recommend it if you're visiting London.

The room was bright and clean, and it had everything needed for cooking. The lady was very nice. I stayed for many nights and will definitely come back.
