The staff were lovely, and the location is handy for Paddington Station, but we chose a basement room and regretted it. You could hear and feel the Underground trains all night. The first thing we saw was pigeon poo on the inside of the window, which set the tone for our stay.

My plans changed at the last minute, but I got a decent room with a great view, a TV and a window I could open to cool down. Couldn't ask for more!

We were first put in a basement room that smelled of sewage. Staff initially helped move us, but the next room had cockroaches, as you can see. The front of house staff and manager were very unhelpful and told us to sort it out with the booking agency, effectively taking no responsibility. Terrible experience and customer service. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

We had a very good stay and would definitely come back. The room was a decent size, had its own bathroom and came with the softest towels. We were in room 104 on the first floor, with a view of the park. The bed was a good size, and the covers and pillowcases were lovely and soft. One pillowcase was missing, but these things happen and it wasn't worth mentioning. There was tea and coffee, plus a couple of shortbread biscuits. Welcome packs are always a bonus. The location worked well for everything, with food and drink options in every direction. The name of the hotel is why I picked it, as I'm from Norfolk.
