The Windmill

The hosts were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. Our room was clean and really comfortable, and the bathroom, while a little small, was practical and clean as well. The tube station is a five-minute walk away, which was ideal for our short stay. I'd definitely stay here again.

I was in London alone for the first time and felt anxious about going out, so I stayed inside by the bar. Christina talked with me and helped me feel much more at ease. She's a real asset to the hotel, and I hope I bump into her again one day.

We came for Oasis at Wembley, and this place worked perfectly for us. The transport connections across London are amazing, and parking is secure and reasonably priced. Our room was basic but had everything we needed, and we both slept really well. The welcome was so genuine and helpful, better than at any of the supposedly luxurious places I've stayed. I can't believe the bad reviews. We'd absolutely stay again.

The location is the main draw, with shops and loads of restaurants right nearby in a lively area. The Windmill Hotel itself is very basic, so don't come expecting luxury. It's a good fit if all you need is somewhere to sleep while staying in the middle of the action.
