We were there for three days, and since I couldn’t find any photos online beforehand, I was curious about the room. Our suite had plenty of space for three, and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful. A few things could be improved: there were only two power outlets, both under the TV. Most concerning, the bathroom had no door, so there was little privacy. There were no towel racks either, and the toilet area had no proper ventilation of its own, relying on the shower vent.

The hotel is well connected to the city center and about a half-hour walk from Covent Garden. Breakfast was a good buffet with plenty of choice, and towels were changed daily. Although the room was small, it was quiet and cozy, so we rested well. Everything felt new, and the bed and shower were especially comfortable. We were very comfortable during our stay.

My friend and I wanted a short London trip on a budget, but still needed somewhere clean and well located. This hotel was a great fit and very affordable for two interns. Our room was tiny but lovely, bright and modern, and we felt safe there. It’s near the train station and there’s a supermarket close by, so everything we needed was just around the corner. The bathroom was separated by an almost transparent wall, which definitely tested our friendship, but there’s not much else to complain about.

YOTEL makes you feel like you’ve stepped into the future. It’s all white and glowing, and so compact you feel like you’re sleeping in a pricey fridge, only with better pillows. The shower was lovely, too. I’m a simple guy from the Czech Republic, and my curiosity got me exploring the tiny bathroom like a new planet. Then I realized the window looked right across the courtyard, where the neighbors had a front-row view of me on the toilet, supposedly contemplating life. The blinds came down fast. My dignity was already gone. Breakfast was a huge spread, enough to feed a small army. Sadly, my digestion decided to stage a full protest that morning. A one-act tragedy. Brilliant and a little terrifying. I’d stay again, but next time I’ll remember to hide before doing anything human.

The rooms are compact and clean, with a nice LED look and a cozy minimalist feel. Check-in was quick, whether using the iPads or getting help from the really friendly staff. Soho is about a straight 20-minute walk, and there’s a BrewDog nearby if you fancy a drink. You can also rent an umbrella for £3 for 48 hours, which came in handy for London rain. I’d definitely recommend it if you like this style.
