La Gaffe Hotel And Restaurant

I came back to book again for my children next December. We'll go into the West End, but Hampstead is such a lovely place to relax, and we'll spend plenty of time there enjoying Lorenzo and the team's hospitality. I was delighted Lorenzo didn't charge extra for my fried egg. Colin, who has impeccable manners and is fully house-trained, enjoyed himself too. Many thanks, much appreciated. I stayed three nights in November 2025 while volunteering at Excel for Sadhguru. Lorenzo gave me a very warm welcome, and the room was warm and comfortable, with a nice shower and no night noise. I slept well and found it very easy to get across London to Excel Docklands for 7am on Saturday. The restaurant lady, who's worked there many years, was so friendly and provided excellent service. Sorry I didn't get her name. Breakfast was a delicious continental one, with one of Lorenzo's famous coffees. There's so much to see nearby. Walk up to the Spaniards Inn or down to Keats house; Jin Kichi, the Japanese restaurant on the same side as La Gaffe near the Tube, was amazing, so remember to book. In the evening, walk up to Hollybush pub and Admirals house, or have a drink at the Duke of Hamilton pub where Peter O'Toole, Oliver Reed and Richard Burton used to go.
