Brackenborough Hotel

The wedding worked brilliantly here, with everything from the ceremony through to the evening party in the Tennyson suite all in one place. That was especially helpful for my mother, who uses a wheelchair. The food was great, service quick and efficient, and the rooms clean and well equipped. We also really enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant 😋

We had two enjoyable dinners here, and breakfast was excellent too. The staff were welcoming and happy to help with whatever we needed. The accommodation was very nice, though some of the furniture felt dated. The jacuzzi bath was a nice bonus.

The puddings were exquisite, and the wine was good quality. Our food was delicious and came out in good time. We found the lounge and bistro cosy, with comfortable seats and attentive staff. Even as the place started filling up, the service stayed fab and we were well looked after. I booked online just 45 minutes before our early dinner, after a disappointing lunch elsewhere. Thank you!

The service was appalling. During a very cold spell, we reported that the bathroom radiator wasn't working and were told maintenance would come. It never got fixed, and when we returned that evening our room door had been left ajar. We asked again the next day but got a very casual response, with housekeeping blamed. They also hadn't topped up the milk or coffee.
