The grounds and house are beautiful, and Gill made us feel at ease straight away. Her kindness and care made staying there feel like being at home. It was a lovely escape in a beautiful spot, with a welcoming host who paid attention to everything. Gill, it was a pleasure meeting you and sharing your home. We’d happily recommend Bricket House and would stay again.

The hosts made a thoughtful gesture by leaving a congratulations card at breakfast, since we’d got married the day we arrived. They were so welcoming throughout. Our bright, airy room stayed lovely even on what must have been the hottest night of the year, and the modern amenities felt right at home in the rural setting. It’s only a surprisingly short drive from town. The continental breakfast was much better than most we’ve had elsewhere, and the kitchen and dining area were superb. Highly recommend. 🙂

We were able to do our own thing during the stay, with the host available whenever we had questions. The one-bedroom apartment was immaculate, with a modern kitchen and bathroom, and there was plenty of parking. It’s in a lovely, quiet spot. We’d come back.
