They upgraded us because a room was available, and the reception staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and spacious, the heating was good, and the beds were comfortable. It’s close to the Christmas markets and shopping centres, which was perfect. Amazing stay, would come back!

The view from the 14th floor was amazing. Our two-bedroom apartment was very clean and had everything you’d need. Patrick at reception was lovely and really helpful. We had a brilliant stay.

The room was uncomfortably hot, and there was no air conditioning, so I had to keep the windows open. The noise was extreme, with shouting and banging going on until 4am. It might be better on a weekday, but if you want a comfortable, quiet stay, pick somewhere else. I wouldn’t return.

The staff were fine, the location is central, and the gym was serviceable. But I wouldn’t recommend the place or come back. From my first-floor room above a busy road, I heard every car, passerby, and yelling drunk. The bed was tiny, only four feet wide, and the freestanding wardrobe didn’t fit, sitting awkwardly in the middle of the room. The gap behind it was filthy. There was no shaving mirror, the fridge was right beside my head, and the TV was tiny and awkwardly placed. The sofa came in two unconnected pieces that slid apart. I had to move the bin to open the cupboard under the sink. All night there was loud running water in the wall behind my head. The room was uncomfortably hot, with no way to turn the temperature down.
