We wanted our wedding to feel like a big house party, and that’s exactly what Didsbury House delivered. The venue was immaculate, and the food and service were excellent. A few of us have worked in hotels, so we can be hard to please, but we honestly couldn’t fault it. From our first meeting with Jenny, the whole team was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. The day was amazing, and we can’t recommend them enough. Thank you so much to everyone who helped make it special.

The hotel is always immaculately presented, and the staff are so attentive. Each visit feels intimate and memorable. We got married here in 2023 and have come back every year since for a stay. Thanks to everyone for another fantastic visit.

There’s no ventilation or air conditioning, so the hotel is hot and stuffy. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work properly and doesn’t reach the rooms. I tried to join a work meeting in the lounge, but couldn’t connect there either. Breakfast is served in the basement, in a cramped and impersonal area. This hotel is very expensive, and what you’d expect from a four star place is nowhere close. The sister hotel further down the road, Eleven Didsbury, is much better for the same price.

The best part by far was how supportive and lovely the staff were. Jenny helped us coordinate everything right up to the wedding day, while Natalia and Laura were so on the ball and helpful on the day itself. Nicola at reception stayed positive and patient amid the chaos of checkout. We’re especially grateful to all of them. Didsbury House Hotel was a gorgeous venue, beautifully appointed throughout, and the rooms were incredibly comfortable. Our guests raved about the mattresses. The food was excellent, and the hotel was very accommodating with adjustments. They even let us bring in beer and cider on tap from our home towns and served them at the bar. Planning our wedding with the hotel was wonderful from start to finish. We couldn’t have chosen a better venue. It was one of the best days of both our lives, and we can’t wait to celebrate future anniversaries at Didsbury House.

We had a perfect wedding day at Didsbury House Hotel in September 2025, and we’re looking forward to visiting again for future anniversaries. Jenny was brilliant with the planning and organisation, and Rick made sure everything ran smoothly on the day. All the venue staff were friendly and attentive. Our guests commented on how lovely the venue and rooms were, and how delicious the food was. We can’t thank everyone enough!
