The shower temperature kept changing every few seconds, but otherwise all good. The room was nice, staff were attentive, and the service was great. Breakfast was a very good hot classic English breakfast, with fruit salads, yoghurts and drinks too. The location’s good for walking to lots of places, and there’s a Lidl nearby if you need to shop.

I’ve been really impressed with the staff, and I’m glad I chose to stay here again. I last came several years ago and remembered the food being good. Now it’s not just good, it’s great. I’m gluten free and they’ve gone above and beyond, even making gluten free croutons for my chicken Caesar salad last night. At breakfast there was a gluten free toaster, bread and cornflakes, which was a pleasant surprise. Brilliant service, a credit to the IHG brand, and an excellent shower as well. I’d give them ten stars for service if I could.

We had a great time, and I hope to come back soon. The receptionist was lovely, and it was so nice talking with you. You made my brother’s and my time in manny. We stayed in two rooms. Upstairs was better and quieter, while unfortunately the ground floor was noisier. Staff were really nice and the service was really good. There was free parking with lots of spaces, and the location was great, only a £5 Uber ride to WHP or the city centre. Miss you guys. Best hotel I’ve stayed in.

The chef and kitchen team were particularly great. The menu had a good choice, the food was well prepared, and the service was great. I had no reason to go elsewhere for food. The steak sandwich had one of the best cooked pieces of steak I’ve had. The location was ideal for what I needed, and that was part of why I chose it. The room was clean, though a bit dated, and sound insulation was poor.

The chefs are top class, and this is the second time we’ve eaten here in just a few weeks. Totally superb. The staff are absolutely first class, from the lovely lady at reception through dinner service to the cooking team. One bit of constructive criticism: if IHG could spare your Manchester West Chef for a few days, they could teach your IHG Sheffield Holiday Inn Chef how to cook.
