Manchester Deansgate by IHG

Luana made our afternoon tea memorable. She was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and her thoughtful attention meant we had what we needed without her ever intruding. Her friendly manner, genuine care and professionalism added something special to the visit. The tea itself was truly wonderful. Service that feels both effortless and heartfelt is rare, and Luana delivered that. Thank you for the lovely experience. We’ll definitely return and hope she serves us again.

The neighbourhood has loads of bars and restaurants nearby, but still feels calm. I stayed in Manchester for a conference, and the view from my room was amazing. I’d never thought of Manchester as having a skyline before. There’s also a cocktail bar on the 23rd floor. The gym was great and breakfast superb, especially the lovely porridge and good choice of breads. The scrambled egg was a bit powdery. I loved the hotel.

I’ve been to Cloud 23 many times, but this visit was truly exceptional. Luana went above and beyond to make my friend’s birthday special. Her kindness and eye for detail made the evening unforgettable, and her service really lifted the whole experience. Thanks, Luana, for such a memorable night. I’ll definitely be back!

Dinner was gorgeous, well presented and cooked perfectly. I slept really well, then woke to views of the rising sun before heading down for a very nice breakfast. The hotel is clean, friendly and in a great location, so I’ll definitely be back. The check-in staff were really nice, and the lift took us up to the 21st floor, where the views were stunning. I’d never seen Manchester from up high before. The room was comfy, though a bit dated. I believe it used to be a Hilton and is having a refit soon, which is why I knocked it down to four stars.
