We really enjoyed breakfast again, a buffet with plenty of choices, just as good as last time. We first stayed here in March 2025 and loved it, so we booked two more nights, 1st-3rd December. The staff were as lovely as we remembered, and we got to choose between the third and fourth floors. We picked the fourth. Our room was clean and nice, but it didn't have the same style as our first one. We'd come back for that cosy feel. I couldn't remember the floor or room number, so I asked reception if there was anything similar. The woman there was amazing. She happily showed me all the available rooms and let me choose the one I liked. I'm so grateful she went above and beyond. I especially love the rooms with low wooden ceilings and small windows, though there are lots of styles to pick from. Another great stay with brilliant staff. We'll definitely return!

The restaurant was a treat in the evenings, and the green curry chicken became my favourite. It was so good I ordered it twice. Breakfast was another highlight: a generous buffet with lots of fresh, tasty, well-presented options, from eggs, sausages, omelettes and smoked salmon to fruit, salads, pastries, cereals, bread, juice, tea and coffee. We stayed at the Marriott Victoria & Albert Hotel in Manchester from 28/12/25 to 2/1/26. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with cookies, tea bags, coffee, and bottled water. Housekeeping serviced it daily and changed the towels regularly. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile. On a rainy day, they even offered us umbrellas, a thoughtful touch. The location is excellent for major sights and public transport. From the airport, you can take a train to Manchester Piccadilly Station and then the free bus, Route 1 or 2, getting off near the Opera House. The hotel is only a short walk from there. A wonderful stay from start to finish, with comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality. We'd highly recommend it.

The breakfast was good, and I appreciated the Victoria & Albert Hotel's architecture and ideal location. But the technical facilities were disappointing. My room stayed cold throughout my four-night visit. I told reception several times, and although they promised to check, the heating was never fixed. It's a shame, since the building is lovely, but basic comfort like room temperature shouldn't be overlooked.

The hotel looks lovely, and the staff were kind and helpful, especially in the restaurant. Dinner was good, though breakfast was pretty basic. Our room wasn't fully soundproof, so we could hear people chatting and walking along the corridor. Parking at the hotel is limited, but they have an arrangement with nearby car parks where you can pay the same rate. We had a very good stay.

We got a great price by booking early, and the stay was very comfortable. The rooms were clean, the breakfast had plenty to choose from, and the staff were all pleasant and helpful. The location suited us perfectly. I'd book here again if we come back to Manchester, and would definitely recommend it.
