Premier Inn Manchester City - Piccadilly

Chloe and Martyne made the occasion one we won't forget. My girlfriend and I stayed for a night, and I wanted the room to be a surprise. They helped make it look fantastic, and my girlfriend was overjoyed when she saw it. Thanks so much, guys! :D

The rooms felt modern, were comfortable and well equipped, and the staff were professional and welcoming throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the breakfast, with its wide range of delicious options, and the cosy bar was a nice place to unwind in the evening. The hotel is a five-minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly Station, which made getting around easy. Piccadilly Gardens, with its shops, restaurants and city life, is about a 15-minute walk away. I'd definitely recommend the hotel and would happily stay again.

Nadine went above and beyond for us on our way to Edinburgh, where my fiancé and I were getting married. She even brought a little something to our room because of the wedding, after the helpful woman at the counter had explained the parking when we arrived. At dinner, the gentleman taking our order took extra care to make sure my fiancé's food allergies were handled without cross contamination. The whole team exceeded our expectations, and we were very impressed.

The location is excellent, but the reception help during our stay was horrendous. When we checked in, the floor was especially dirty. I asked for the room to be cleaned for three days before anyone did anything. The receptionist told me they only change towels in the middle of a stay. Proper cleaning wasn't really provided; if you requested a clean, they would only change the towels. That rather defeats the point of a hotel, and an apartment or Airbnb would give you more space for less money. My son had an accident and wet the bed, so we asked for the bedding to be changed. It wasn't done, and when we came back that evening, we had to change it ourselves. No place is perfect, but ignoring a problem after a guest has specifically raised it made for a truly terrible customer experience.
