Precious looked after us especially well and made us feel welcome. My daughter also loved the TV with a chalkboard behind it and had a great time drawing on it. A really fun, family-friendly detail. The hotel is charming and whimsical, mixing treehouse-inspired touches with a modern city feel. It felt cosy, creative and thoughtfully put together. We had a well-equipped gym, free filtered water throughout the hotel, plus a fantastic bar and restaurant. The central location made it easy to explore, with Manchester Arndale around a four-minute walk away for shopping and food. We had a lovely stay at the Treehouse Hotel Manchester and would come back. It’s a great choice if you want somewhere central and full of character.

We loved our weekend here, and they made a real effort to make us feel special for our birthdays. The decor was gorgeous, and we loved the theming and location. Staff were helpful and lovely, and being able to text them questions was great. The bed had just the right firmness, the blackout curtains worked, and the spinning TV was cool. It was also handy to be able to log into Netflix. The facilities were great, and I loved having a yoga mat in the room. I probably wouldn’t pay extra for a view room, though. There were a few small teething issues that I’ve messaged the hotel about separately. We’d definitely come back.

The gym was the standout for me. In all my travels, I’ve rarely, if ever, seen a hotel fitness room so well equipped. It’s good for a serious, complete training session, not just a light workout. The rest of the stay was excellent too. The location was convenient and enjoyable, breakfast had lots of quality options and was nicely presented, and the room was elegant with thoughtful design. The bed deserves its own mention: exceptionally comfortable, with a wide range of pillows that gave me a level of sleep comfort I rarely experience. I’d gladly return.

The restaurant staff were lovely, and the hotel room and facilities were really nice. My frustration was the check-in communication. We arrived by train at 10am and asked if the room was ready. The receptionist said check-in was at 3pm, and when I asked how we’d find out when it was available, she said she’d email us. My husband and I waited in the restaurant, along with about six other parties who’d been told the same. At 2pm, another guest arrived, checked in and got a room card right away. We were confused, since we’d been waiting four hours and none of the other waiting guests had keys either. I went to the desk to ask if our room was ready, and they said yes. I’m completely fine with not being able to check in early, but if you tell me you’ll email, then please do. It felt clear they didn’t want guests checking in early. They need a better way to let people know when their rooms are ready. We were sitting right by the lobby and they knew we were waiting, so I don’t understand why nobody told us.

Luke welcomed us at reception with a big smile and was engaging and knowledgeable about the local area and where to go for a night out. Our suite was spacious, immaculately clean and had lovely little touches. The Treehouse is a stunning place for a Manchester break, with quirky features and incredible attention to detail. We had an absolutely lovely stay and would recommend it.
