The room looked just as I’d pictured it, the food was delicious and beautifully presented, and service was excellent. I had a christening for my two daughters today, and the staff were amazing all the way from booking through to the end. A huge thank you to Anna, Nina and Millie, who worked the event. They were friendly and professional, and went above and beyond all afternoon. They made the day special for my girls, and I can’t thank them enough. I’ll definitely return and recommend the place.

The refurbished rooms look much more modern, and I really liked mine. Breakfast was nice, with plenty of choices, and there’s a Starbucks too, which is fantastic. The staff throughout were helpful and accommodating. In the pub, Scarlet was especially helpful with my allergies and couldn’t have done more. It’s a lovely hotel with good access to the city centre.

The staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. I stayed two nights and would gladly come back without hesitation. I didn’t use the leisure facilities, but the pool looked awesome. The restaurant was incredibly busy on Friday evening.

It feels like a happy place as soon as you walk in. Everything was modern and clean, and the staff were lovely, kind, polite, friendly and helpful. The gym, pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room were all lovely and well kept, as were the rooms. I’ll certainly stay here again.

For a one-night stay, it felt safe and wasn’t too noisy. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were really friendly. Breakfast was very average, which may have been because I’m gluten free, but the morning staff were nice and helpful.
