The river made it easy to spend the week kayaking, paddle boarding and wild swimming whenever we fancied, and we enjoyed the walk into March several times too. The fairy garden, a new feature since our last visit, quickly became a favourite and we went there most days. This was our second annual family trip with the wider family, and the team were just as welcoming, friendly and helpful as before. We split our stay between a B&B room and the lodge, and liked both. The spacious, comfortable family room was spotless and had everything we needed, plus a table and chairs. The lodge was very comfortable and so well stocked with cooking facilities and utensils that I could happily live there. I slept well in both, my husband preferred the lodge, and our son loved both, especially the sofa bed where he could watch TV in bed. A great stay again, thanks to a wonderful team. Highly recommend!

March is an easy walk away, with a pleasant route along the river bank, and the B&B is well located. I had a relaxing four nights at the four winds b&b and will definitely book again. My room was spotless when I arrived and looked out over the fields. Breakfast came to the room, hot and absolutely delicious. The owners were polite and helpful, with plenty of information about local services. There’s ample parking and a nice seating area outside at the back. It’s a very well run B&B, and I highly recommend it.

My room had everything I needed and more, and the host was really helpful. I had a key, so I could come and go as I pleased. The location worked well for me because it was close to where I was working. I’d highly recommend the breakfast, it arrived hot and was well cooked.

Having access to the river was great. We paddle boarded, used the pedalo and went fishing, and even canoed into March for lunch. It made for a lovely family holiday. This was our third visit, with our family of five, and we love coming back. The site was clean and well maintained as always, and the staff and owners were friendly and welcoming. When we asked to add an extra night during our stay, they were very accommodating. Thanks for a wonderful break, see you next year!
