OYO The Baltimore Hotel

The staff's warm smiles mattered a lot to me while I was visiting my husband in hospital, and everyone was so friendly. The location was perfect for that. The breakfast was good, with a hot cooked option and boiled eggs. When I asked for fried eggs instead, they made them to order without any fuss. The young woman serving breakfast was especially pleasant and accommodating. My standard double was very small, with little room to walk around the bed. There was a framed shelving unit for storage and hanging clothes, plus a separate shower and toilet. For my needs it was sufficient, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. There was plenty of tea and coffee in the room and lobby, and someone offered me a hot drink when I arrived. The hotel looked fresh as I walked around, smelled lovely, and had some nice seating inside and out. Larger rooms are available, but if you just need a comfortable bed for a night, this place works well.

The Rijo coffee machine was my favourite bit. Parking was good, with no extra charge, and staff were clean, professional, friendly and polite. They seem passionate about their work and always made us feel welcome. Breakfast is a buffet with a full English, toast and continental choices. There's a great Indian restaurant just across the road and a gym a short walk away. The hotel itself is welcoming and well located near the city centre.

We had a lovely stay, with no complaints. The hotel was quiet, the staff were friendly and made us feel comfortable and welcome. Our room was cosy, with a nice big bathroom. It's just outside the town.

The room was small but fine for one night, and the bed was comfortable. There was nowhere to hang clothes, and the bathroom could use a deep clean, though the shower was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
