Holiday Inn Express Milton Keynes

The room and facilities were clean and comfortable, and I had a nice stay. Having buffet breakfast included is a nice touch, though it felt a bit like every person for themselves. One person was guarding the toaster like a rugby player because they apparently needed eight slices. Next time, if we stay again, I'll try to get breakfast early, before the rush and people breathing down your neck. That doesn't put me off coming back if needed.

There was plenty of safe parking, and the room was neat, clean, and inviting. The air con unit has seen better days, but it was adequate for one night. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, and it was lovely to see how accommodating the hotel is to everyone who visits. The breakfast buffet was amazing and had something for everyone's palate. Dinner was delicious and nicely presented. We chose to support the hotel rather than eat at the Harvester across the parking lot, and they let us take our meal upstairs.

I stayed Monday to Friday for two weeks and was really happy with the hotel. The rooms are a good size and very quiet, with nice showers and good water pressure. The air con also works as heating, so you can make the room as cool or warm as you like. Staff were very friendly and greeted me nicely whenever I came back. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy without feeling rushed. Breakfast was included and very good, with plenty of cold choices like croissants and a self-service cooked spread of bacon, sausages, hash browns, scrambled eggs, tomatoes, and beans. It was well stocked, so I never had to wait for refills. The coffee machines made cappuccinos, mochas, hot chocolate, and more, and there were takeaway cups and food bags. I liked taking a coffee with me after breakfast. There was plenty of completely free parking. The Harvester opposite was handy for takeaway too. During both weeks I stayed, they had meals at 50% off, so it was reasonable overall. I'd definitely stay here again.

My first stay at a Holiday Inn and honestly, I was impressed. The staff were all pleasant, with a smile and some banter. The room was very clean, and there were two pillow choices, one soft and one medium. The bathroom was modern and nice, with Dove shower cream, shampoo, and hand wash. That's a big plus for me since Dove is my favourite skin brand. The room also had air conditioning, tea and coffee, and the usual USB plugs.
