Leonardo Hotel Milton Keynes

The room had an issue when we arrived, but manager Johnny quickly upgraded us to an executive room and gave us complimentary breakfast and dinner, both of which were really nice. He helped us move, even offering to carry our luggage, and later called to check everything was all right. He couldn’t have been more accommodating. We’ve stayed here many times and will be back many more. It’s great value, clean, and close to shops, bars, and restaurants. The staff are friendly, the beds are comfortable, and even though the hotel is busy, the rooms are quiet. I can’t fault it.

The central MK location is perfect, with the main shopping centre very close and restaurants all around. In good weather, it’s within walking distance of the train station. The beds are really comfy too. All good, and the hotel has just turned 20.

The bed was clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the powerful shower. The room itself stayed cold all night even after reception adjusted the thermostat remotely, which made it uncomfortable. There was no complimentary water, and £2.95 for a 500ml bottle felt excessive. Breakfast was below average with limited options. There was no cappuccino, just americano with milk, the tea choice was limited, and there weren’t even biscuits or light refreshments with coffee. The food overall was acceptable. I stayed for a company meeting, and I’m glad I wasn’t paying for it myself.

ADNA, you’re my favourite staff member. Thanks to this young lady, the hotel feels like home from home, with a personal touch. She makes sure our needs are met with a huge, beautiful smile. I came in before her shift today and could tell there was a big difference in the atmosphere. The other lady was on her own. Later, I saw Adna and she kindly sorted out my problem. I stay in Milton Keynes a lot, and this is hands down my favourite hotel. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. We’ve been here so often, I should have shares in it.
