Novotel Milton Keynes

We've stayed here three times and will keep coming back when we're in Milton Keynes. The rooms are great, and we really appreciate being able to bring our dog. Everyone we spoke with was friendly. The toilet hand sanitiser wasn't working, but we washed our hands in the bathroom instead. The pillows were softer than I like, though I still slept OK.

We've come back eleven times over the last couple of years, and the service has stayed consistent. The staff are friendly and attentive, everything is reliably clean, and the free parking is a real plus. It's well located for Central Milton Keynes, and the swimming pool is excellent. For a short break, the price is spot-on, so it's become our go-to hotel.

For a business trip, this was a good stay. The staff were smiling and pleasant, the rooms were quiet, and the air conditioning worked well. The pool and gym are nice facilities. The restaurant is handy if you don't want to go elsewhere. The food was good quality, though the choice was limited. The hotel is at an acceptable standard overall, but the lobby and rooms feel average and could do with a refresh.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were very friendly and polite. We enjoyed the food, though it was a little dear. The location is just outside the town centre, with the shopping mall, pubs and restaurants only a few minutes away by reasonably priced Uber. There’s ample parking around the hotel. A few things could be better: breakfast orange juice was squash rather than real juice, the draught beer choice was limited and mostly unfamiliar brands apart from Guinness, and having a cashless setup wasn't very convenient. Still, we had a very nice stay.
