From the moment you arrive, the welcome and friendly, polite service make you feel at ease. The atmosphere is lovely, and the menu has plenty of tempting choices. Portions are generous, prices feel fair, and everything we’ve eaten there has been wonderful. I’d happily recommend it.

The location on the busy road through town works well for an overnight stop, though I wouldn’t choose it for a longer stay. The room and bathroom were large and clean, the staff very friendly, and the Italian restaurant downstairs was excellent. There’s also secure private parking, which is handy if you’re travelling by motorbike.

The owner was really friendly, and the Italian restaurant is well worth a visit. The food is gorgeous, fabulous quality, and served in large portions. If I lived nearby, I’d make it my regular place. Can’t wait to go back. 😁

After three busy days in Edinburgh, our family needed a quieter pace, and the Aurora gave us just that in a safe, relaxing seaside village. The dinner was exquisite, and the room and bathroom were very clean. It’s run by a friendly English woman and Italian man, and that combination made us feel like we were visiting relatives. If you enjoy good food and conversation, don’t hesitate to book. We’ll always remember our warm stay at the Aurora.

My wife and I stopped here for dinner a week ago while touring through the area. We’re from the US, and the meal was a real highlight: excellent food, generous portions, and great service. The staff were all so friendly, which made it even more enjoyable.
