The place had a lovely welcoming feel, with nice decor, vintage bits in the lounge and a small outdoor area to relax. We had two rooms for our creative workshop project group in Newport, and the attic room was especially spacious. The rooms were spotless and regularly maintained. Towels could be changed on request, and when a friend thought she’d lost a claw clip, the owner went out of her way to help look for it. She was kind and a delight to chat with, always checking if we needed anything. We even invited her to our performance and exhibition, and she came, which warmed our hearts. It felt like our money was going to the right person and team. Continental breakfast was perfect for our rushed mornings. WiFi worked smoothly, and our request for a slightly later checkout for one room was no problem. It was a pleasant walk each day to Mountbatten Hospice, and the hotel is even closer to the town centre. We wouldn’t have wanted to stay elsewhere. Highly recommend these owners, and we’ll be back if we do the project again or return to Newport. Thanks so much for being such kind, lovely owners.

The building has a lot of character, and the rooms are spacious and clean. The team made us feel welcome, chapeau! Comfortable beds helped us sleep well, and a tasty, healthy, hearty breakfast set us up for the day. Coming back to the IOW.

The hostess was so kind and caring that staying here felt like visiting your aunt’s place. She serves continental breakfast, and her hospitality made the whole experience even cosier. It’s a cosy B&B just minutes from Newport town centre. The rooms were clean and cleaned daily, and there’s a cosy lobby where you can sit and read for hours. Highly recommended if you want somewhere that feels like a home away from home on your island trip.

We had a lovely two-night stay in this B&B while exploring the island. The room was comfortable and very clean, and the friendly staff took good care of us. Highly recommend it.

The location turned out to be amazing. I hadn’t realised how close the bus station was until I arrived, which meant I could get from my room to anywhere on the island in about an hour and a half or less. The owner was exceptionally sweet and friendly, and my room was always kept perfectly. There was more than enough space to put my things away before heading out for the day.
