Room 7 had everything I needed, and it was spotless, with brilliantly white bedding and towels. Sarah was fantastic with my poorly little dog, and the B&B being dog friendly made bringing her along easy. She works incredibly hard and it shows in the place. She also makes her own jams and pickles, and the chilli one is out of this world, do try it. I can't remember staying in a better B&B, and would certainly recommend it. Thanks, Sarah, for such a great stay and week in Newquay. We'll see you next year. 10/10 xx

The free private parking advertised wasn't provided, and the host was unreachable at check-in. Communication remained hostile, and I found the host unprofessional. After booking a prepaid stay, I was made to leave three days early with less than four hours' notice. The host threatened to remove my belongings and insisted I leave immediately. I felt the host openly discriminated against people who aren't white and acted with entitlement. The experience was severe enough that I reported it to the police. I also had to involve the court to resolve a payment that had been overdue for months. The host was rude, didn't know how to communicate with guests, refused feedback, and abused guests openly in the street. I strongly advise people to avoid this property. The behaviour made a peaceful stay impossible.

The rooms were spotless and a good size, with a beautiful view. We could park outside, or, when it was very busy, for free just around the corner. The place worked perfectly for Newquay and for travelling around Cornwall, including St Ives. Breakfast was nice too, though I don't eat much in the morning. We brought our little poodle, who was welcomed by everyone. Maybe not by the cat, but that seemed more our dog's fault, since he likes saying hi to everyone and that's not every cat's cup of tea. Sarah also gave us pub recommendations and helped when our dog had eaten too much sand on the beach. I'd never been to Cornwall, had hardly holidayed in the UK since I was a kid, and had never stayed in a B&B before. Sarah's place had such lovely energy. After a six-hour drive, we were met with a warm smile, and the stay felt amazing from the start. I mentioned my partner's birthday and there was a little card and balloons waiting for us. Those little things make a difference. We also got to meet Sarah's daughter and grandson on Sarah's birthday, and he's a very smart kid. On our last day we were running around like maniacs and running late, so Sarah let us have breakfast 30 minutes late, freshly cooked, on her own birthday. Really sorry about that, haha. Willow the cat is a sweetheart, and we hope to spot a few more turtles when we return. Sarah made us feel at home right away, and breakfast was delicious, cooked to order, with loads of choices if a full English isn't your thing. Thanks, Sarah!
