We had the best evening in the bar, playing pool and chatting with Margaret and Owen, after a last-minute trip from Devon with our 14-year-old son. They're such welcoming, friendly hosts, and the room was spotless. Breakfast was perfect and the location couldn't be better. The guest house felt like a home away from home, and this was one of our best stays ever. Thanks for adding so much to our getaway. We'll definitely be back!

The place was spotless every time we returned, and all the staff were really friendly. A big thank you to Natalie and John. Margaret and Owen are a hardworking couple who care about their guests. The breakfast room was light and airy, and there was a bar with a pool table. Breakfast was excellent, cooked by Margaret and served by a friendly, efficient woman with a lovely big smile. We were greeted warmly by Margaret and Owen, who upgraded us to a sea-view room. It was spacious and beautifully decorated, including the bathroom, and the whole hotel was immaculate. I can't imagine another hotel in Newquay being better presented or run than OYO Minerva.

Margaret and her team made us feel so welcome. We had a lovely short stay, with delicious breakfast and great sea views from our room. The location was great too. I'd happily stay again.

The staff were especially welcoming and friendly, and the location was perfect. We stayed one night, and it exceeded what I expected. The hotel had an amazing view, and everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend it!
